Seras shook her head from side to side lightly when Reika told her she hadn't done anything, but still the girl wouldn't speak up. She would sooner shrug it off than upset Reika with her opinions. Looking down at her band tshirt, it almost made her smile, but the apathetic vampire instead kept it to herself, again.
She watched as the shifter quickly built a fire, though even the warmth of it would be questionable to her. The vampiress was eternally cold, barely able to feel any warmth in her heart much less across her body. She felt no physical pains. No amount of discomforts, the small things humans take for granted but make them realize they're still alive. Seras had none of it.
Unable to bring herself to sit, Seras wanted so desperately to let Reika be hospitable to her but the cave was a bit dingy to her lifestyle. Afterall, she hadn't been in the graveyard for fun but rather to pay a visit to someone. Still, she had yet to find a permanent home anywhere and for the time being was only renting a location on the outskirts of Mystic Creek. It was secluded, and not the largest home in the development. Quite inconspicuous, though Seras hadn't been there in days. Often times the girl would fight with her vampire self and wander about the town for days at a time, before finally winning herself over and returning home having NOT fed off anyone.
She nodded when Reika asked if she could walk, a testament to her vampiric healing. However, even without reading her mind Seras could surmise that Reika planned to go out to a nearby stream of sorts. She'd heard the running water in the distance some time prior to entering the cave. Along with the sound of deer hooves moving swiftly for it was being chased by perhaps a wolf. However, being unable to read Reika's thoughts drove her confusion and depression absolutely mad. There was only one other person who's thoughts she was unable to read in her life, one other person whom she'd fallen for and had the deepest connection with.
"I... I have a house... in Mystic Creek, Miss Reika..." Seras whispered softly, more of just a thought barely escaping her lips. "You deserve better...." she cut herself off quickly and her head fell in shame. Seras bit her tongue hard until she could feel a few drops of blood in her mouth. It calmed her down enough not to burst into tears. How could she be so rude and selfish? In truth, Seras hated being out in the wilderness save for the occasional trip to see the sights. But she'd only ever lived with nature when on the run from humans. For once she wasn't and it felt wonderful. Seras was waiting for the girl to say something, anything to her. The vampiress was expecting to be scolded and beat for speaking her mind when not asked. She was brought up in a very proper household, but moreso in recent years her lifestyle as living like a slave to someone or another solidified it.

Reika didn't know what to do. The girl seemed insistant that she deserved more, though Reika couldn't wrap her head around the concept herself. She looked around her bare home, trying to see it in Seras' eyes. Obviously, she had been brought up in a very rich home. Nevertheless, she grabbed Seras' hand and led her from the cave, quickly dashing under the safety of the trees to keep her new-found love from suffering anymore pain. "The creek is this way. It won't take long to get to." She deliberately evaded the girl's words, not liking what they were stirring inside of her. Memories of fancy balls, and cooks to, well, cook for her. Reika shook her head slightly, banishing the thoughts to the farthest recesses of her mind, along with the memories of her home, or moreso, homes.
Soon, the two came to the creek, and Reika sighed inwardly. Finally, she could do something other than try and think of something to say. She looked around and spotted a nice rock to sit upon while she cleaned the girl's clothes. She strode over to the boulder in question, stopped, and looked back at the girl before starting her task. "The creek is relatively calm, and warm for that matter. You can just slip in and swim around and such. If you put the clothes here," She pointed to a spot next to her, "They'll stay fairly dry and you can change back into them once we're done here. I'll get started on getting the blood out of these clothes." She smiled warmly. Reika bent down and started first on the shirt, the thing that seemed to be soiled the most, and got to work. She liked doing this; it made her feel almost needed. Something she hadn't felt in a long while.
((I will post more when I get home, doing this is detention so it's hard to get out my post with all the idiots in the room. lol. But, if you think you can work with what's here, then be my guest!!! If not, I have about an hour to go so....))

The more Seras thought about it, the more strange it was to her that she couldn't recall the last time someone, anyone, actually told her, suggested for her to take her clothes off. The fact that it was not even for any shameful purpose was new to her. More often than not when the vampiress wound up unclothed, she was nearly forced. The only thing in her mind that told her otherwise was her ability to love the torture, the shame, the defilement and all the pain associated with having been mistreated so much.
Still, doing as she was told despite her distaste for the dirty outdoors, Seras approached the edge of the stream. It was more of a small river, perhaps deep enough for a human to drown. The thought crossed her mind long ago, however, as it always did. In the back of her head, her warped psyche more often than not considered ways to perish. Having discovered she were a monster made it only more interesting. Some days she felt well enough to push the thoughts away, most days she would spend hours working out elaborate scenarios, making a game of it all. If any man approached her looking glum and knew why she wore the long face, surely the thought of attraction for her would leave them. But, Seras was plagued by everyone else's thoughts. Some nights she could barely hear her own for everything else was so loud to her.
As she slowly began to step out of her borrowed pants, Seras was careful to fold them neatly and place them on a clean, flat stone that clearly had been placed nearby some time prior. It almost brought a smile to her lips, knowing she would not be the first or only one to do this. Standing with her legs close together daintily, the vampiress proceeded to hesitantly take off her shirt. After placing it too aside, there was nothing protecting her delicate skin from the sun's rays save for the lush shade around them. The heat was only tolerable to a girl like her who'd convinced her mind and body to enjoy pain, but for the time being there were not immediate burns. Still, Reika could not possibly understand the feeling being out in even just the daylight.
Seras knew someone must be stealing a gander at her. She could feel eyes on her. Again, it made her almost smile. She still could never read the thoughts of her love interest, but it made her almost happy to wonder if she was being ogled at. The vampiress heard no other thoughts in the area. She covered her chest with her slender arms, naturally, and began to slowly wade out into the running water. The soothing feeling it brought to her was overwhelming, minus the bits of reflected rays beaming back at her.
Finally Seras was out far enough to go underwater completely, the sound of the current strangely comforting to her. But just as she stayed under longer than natural to any human, the vampiress surfaced again so as to not cause worry. She rose out of the water slowly, her perfect hair wet and covering her chest perfectly. Her grace and charm rivaled even a water maiden, enough to sway any mortal man instantly, but Seras hadn't given it any thought or effort. She wouldn't dare catch herself believing Reika thought anything of her. Afterall, in Seras' mind the monster was merely a slave.
Slowly opening her eyes, the clear water running across her delicate skin, the red in her gaze was deeper than ever before. Without realizing it, her fangs were poking out from between her lips. There was something still so very innocent and tempting about Seras just then, despite the primal feeling and the sun's pain bringing out the true being in her. Yet, there was no amount of violence or fearfulness conveyed. Somehow, there was just a hint of sadness in her eyes that was for the most part won over by a beauty like no other. Her porcelain skin glistening wet, her hair shimmering, if one didn't know she were a monster even her eyes wouldn't suggest it. There was a certain sense of innocence about her, standing all alone waist deep in a cool stream. Seras was beyond picturesque as always. There wasn't barely a smile on her face, but her more blank expression was cute and left anyone to forever wonder what the desire hidden deep in her eyes was. It was no surprise such a beautiful creature would instantly attract men, allowing the vampiress to often find trouble. But, there were no visible flaws across her body anywhere in sight. Her ability to heal and conceal was other-worldly. But Reika knew the truth, and Seras would never dare forget it. It was the only thought in her blank mind just then. Though she felt almost at peace in the tranquility of the scene, and not able to unwillingly hear others, it would never last as soon after the pain flooded back into her mind. Seras almost wanted to play the seductive game, but felt shameful and knew better. She convinced herself it was only the monster inside her that wanted Reika, and did her best to believe it.
No matter how the vampiress moved about gingerly, her perfect form was always kept and her luscious hair seemed to keep her covered just right. Even as she ran her slender fingers delicately through her wet hair, Seras remained proper and never once even showed Reika even the smallest glimpse of her body that just anyone was not meant to see. All the blood was washed off her, leaving nothing but her soft, almost glowing, radiant skin. It was a strange sight, to see such a cold creature almost beaming with life in her skin. But, it was something few ever noticed as only the sun brought it out. In truth, it was only the burning effects to be witnessed. Ever still, Seras was beyond perfect. She let out no expression of pain, her movements never short of angelic.
Seras stole a glance over at Reika. It was as if all time stopped. If her eyes could smile, the beauty in them would be the single thing conveying any sort of humanity in her blank stare. But before Seras let any notion of longing be visibly known, she stopped herself and turned away slowly. In her mind, the vampiress was scolding herself fiercely for almost slipping. The last thing she wanted was to make a fool out of herself and admit wanting Reika. Seras firmly believed there was nothing alive, or otherwise, walking the earth that would truly, innocently, desire her. Afterall, her own father even abandoned her. The vampiress rose from the water cautiously, but at she burried her face in her hands amidst her depression, she could feel the blood pouring out of her eyes. It was as cold as ice, very much unlike the warm water dripping from her flesh. She made sure to be facing away from Reika, though her aura was so dense with havoc and despair it was a wonder it wasn't visible. Quickly, the timid girl wiped her eyes clean and wanted to sigh heavily. If she let her judgement lapse again, however, Reika would get yet another glimpse of the horrors she'd put herself through, even if Seras still held hope that perhaps the shifter may have only thought someone else other than herself gave her all the scars and pain. Seras believed, surely her new master would find even more disgust in her had she known the vampiress adored what any other would consider excruciating pain.
Seras found herself deep in thought, as usual, memories of her first feeding after losing her beloved came to her vividly. It was also the mark of her discovering a longing for a more physical pain. Her emotions had been equally as destroyed then as well, but as a man who attempted to rape her ended up stabbing her, the grisly scene that followed would put any thriller film to shame. The vampiress wasn't certain what transpired within her at the time, but she could hear the man's thoughts clearly. As they shifted from desire to a sickening hatred, the emotional pain Seras began to feel was instantly overwhelmed by something else. When she'd looked down, there was a knife buried in her left breast. If her immediate love for the pain wasn't taken over by her body's need to feed, the man may have lived through the night. Even still, Seras could remember the burning sensation that the silver had had for days after the incident.
Looking down sadly, Seras touched her chest where she'd been stabbed. To her, the scar was as clear as the nightly moon she often stared up at. To anyone else, it was merely a girl with the cutest gesture. But Seras knew where her mind was taking her. As always, she came upon the same realization that she'd only truly had the strength to pull the silver knife out of her chest years ago because the sensation of having someone with such pure hatred for her hurt her physically as well, in the ways worst to a vampire, was something she'd instantly decided she'd enjoy feeling again, many times. Seras knew, the only thing possibly more hurtful in life, was to have the person who instilled such brutal hatred be a person whom had prior loved her more than anything. However, the vampiress knew, sad as it was, that that being her single goal in life would never be achieved in that she couldn't bring herself to accept any true love towards her.

Reika slowly worked on the clothes, laying them out on the rock behind her to dry in the sun. She'd come back, or send Zev out to fetch them, later. Once she was done, she sat on the rock, trying not to look at Seras and failing horribly. The girl was truly beautiful. Reika found herself wanting to touch that skin, caress those curves, taste her- She shook her head. That was not someplace to go with someone whom you'd barely met! She sat back and looked up at the branches above her, noticing how the sun changed the shade of green. Reika got a ludicrous idea, but went with it anyways, wondering the outcome. "Mind if I join you?" She didn't wait for a reply before stripping to her birthday suite and climbing in.
The cool water stopped the burning of her scars that had started up when she had seen Seras' own scars bleeding. Scars of battles fought. With herself, with others, with humanity as a whole. The one on her stomach though, the one that was the result of her trying to commit seppuku or the Japanese art of suicide, that one hurt the worse. And was also the largest and easiest to see. She looked down at the large, angry pink scar and ran her hand over it, remembering what brought her to that point. She let herself sink down under the skin of the water and just sat there, enveloped in the creek that she had been bathing in for months now. Feeling the mother goddess all around her, enveloping Reika in her love. 'Loving Mother,'Reika prayed silently. 'Guide me to tread this path you've given me with strength and wisdom, and keep me from making the wrong decision.' With that, she floated back up to the surface and whipped her blue hair out of her face. She really didn't care if Seras saw her boobs, they were both girls right? Besides, her hair didn't quite cover them anyways.
Reika glanced over at Seras and noticed she was touching one of her breasts, as if caressing a scar. It was then that Reika could see the faint line of defaced flesh and wondered, with a twisting in her stomach, what sick bastard shoved a knife through this beautiful woman's heart, literally...

The vampiress didn't argue when she was joined in the calm, cool water, the morning breeze rustling their hair. She at first didn't even wish to turn around, out of fear, and so just let Reika approach her, but stayed holding herself. If vampires barely breathed at all, Seras would have heaved a heavy sigh, but instead she only wished for such. As the shifter came closer, the heartbeat that Seras heard resonating throughout the water grew stronger. Though it excited her inner vampire, it was also one of the most calming noises to listen into for her. For a few minutes, Seras closed her eyes and simply concentrated on her master's heartbeat. All she wanted was to be held and loved and to listen to the natural sounds of the forest and her love interest's steady heartbeat forever, but of course the timid vampiress would make no moves towards it herself. She was too prim and proper a woman. In such light, it almost upset her. She felt someone, anyone, would despise her for longing for a woman, but deep down, Seras felt love, and didn't make any differences between men or woman.
"I'm heaps sorry... Miss Reika..." Seras whispered, her eyes still closed and her back still to the shifter. As Reika had gotten closer to her, though the vampire couldn't read the girl's mind, she could feel so much of the pain. Reading emotions was one thing she was unnaturally good at, even when she couldn't hear an individual's thoughts. The pain she felt, it brought a tear to her eye. Still with her eyes closed, Seras turned around slowly, with such grace it was no wonder she wasn't human, as she gingerly touched her slender fingers to Reika's tummy. Though her skin was colder than ice, it was no doubt soothing to the almost burning pain she felt emanating from Reika's aura. Seras knew it too well. She had often taken a blade to her own body, as well as invitingly by others. Even without seeing it, the vampiress knew. She could feel the faint scar, and could tell exactly what it was from. It destroyed Seras to know her master would ever have tried to hurt herself. Her soft touch conveyed such a deep understanding and sympathy, the connection she had with Reika was beyond anything human.
Not without whispering a soft apology under her breath, Seras gently kissed her hand and placed it upon her friend's shameful scar. She could see the pain in her heart and in her eyes clear as the daylight burned. Wrapping her arms slowly around Reika, Seras pressed her cold body against the shifter's. Her petite body was strangely comforting for a vampiress, or perhaps it was all part of the seductive charm the nightwalkers inhumanly possessed.
"Shh.... everything will be alright... I promise...." Seras whispered, running her slender fingers through Reika's wet hair. Her voice was angelic even in a whisper and the atmosphere she conveyed was so loving, her care astounding. Something of her true self began to show, the real Seras. Loving and unstoppably kind and selfless. Without even trying, the aura and countenance Seras conveyed could calm nearly any beast or pains. Without warning, She gingerly kissed Reika's neck with such swift passion it was a beauty of a scene to behold.
Reika truly was bringing out the best in her, but it was short lived. As Seras stayed ever so close to the wolf girl, the vampire inside her grew too excited. Seras fought it for as long as she could, but eventually released her embrace and backed off a few feet swiftly. Her visage was that of a killer's, though the slight look of sadness buried in her eyes was odd. Her self control was won over only by the hatred she'd harbored for herself and the desire to starve, for it not for it she would have long since fed off Reika. Horrified, Seras desperately wished the shifter could possibly understand the pains she felt every moment of her life. She fell to her knees and buried her face in her hands.
"I'm heaps sorry, Miss Reika... please... please don't hate me... I'm sorry... I promise I wont hurt you... please don't hate me... please!" Seras pleaded, desperate for the real care and affection of someone, anyone, who actually might take her seriously and want her as a true friend. Though, already, the vampiress was telling herself it was for naught because she'd already ruined everything. Returning to her usual, morbid state of mind, Seras began to fantasize about Reika or her wolf companion tearing her apart. Perhaps if she upset them enough? She developed vivid imaged in her mind of her own body being torn to shreds, cold blood spilling and running the river red. The excitement she felt from such thoughts would disgust anyone who knew.
"Please... Miss Reika... I'm sorry..." Seras was again enslaved by her own mind and respect for everyone but herself.

Reika stiffened as the vampiress came close and touched that cursed area. She was, of course, thrown off a bit when she kissed Reika's neck and then backed away. She wanted more. Oh did she want more...When the vampiress crouched down, there was only one thing Reika could will herself to do. She walked over to the broken girl and gathered her in her arms. "How could I hate you? You've given me no reason to. And hurt me? Honey, there's little in this wretched world that would bother me. I've been through the pains of this world, nothing can really hurt me anymore." With this, she flashed back through the years quickly, then was brought back to the present.
She lifted the girl out of the water and sat her on a smooth boulder she herself had sat on many a morning contemplating life. Then she sat down next to her and ran her fingers through Seras' hair. "You are quite beautiful, I think your beauty rivals that of Cassandra of Troy herself! And her beauty was said to rival Aphrodite and Helen of Troy both!" Yes, she was trying to comfort the girl, and yes, she did just mention Greek mythology. Sue her. It was then that she felt a cold nose on the her bare back and she turned to see the she-wolf she called a friend holding two towels in her mouth, no doubt from some unlucky pair of hikers who left their things unattended.
"Thank you Zev." She smiled and took the two towels, wrapping one around Seras and one around herself. She looked over to the clothes she had washed and saw that they were pretty close to being done."I think we can go back and eat here soon. Your clothes are almost dry. Though I would suggest throwing them in a proper washer once you get home if you want them to feel the same." She smiled at the girl and calmly wrapped her arm around Seras back. Strangely, she felt comfortable around this girl. She didn't understand why though, but she wrote it off as one of those vampire abilities everyone talked about.
There was something drawing her to the girl though, and it wasn't vampiric abilities, she knew that. Could it be the twisted kinship of two broken souls? Or maybe it was just the fact that she was beautiful, in every way shape or form- even wet with the water of the creek, as she was now? Before she could think about it, Reika leaned over and kissed Seras on the cheek, then coiled back, scolding herself for acting so brashly. "Sorry. I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that. I'm sorry..." She mumbled. Now she had done it. She'd made the move, showed this girl that she was, in fact, interested. Now she would have to wait and see what the vampiress's response would be. It was clearly written on her face that the girl had some sort of attraction toward the shifter. And she had kissed her neck...
Which, by the way, felt fucking amazing. That small kiss on the neck had awakened something in Reika that she didn't even know existed, and she suddenly felt herself growing wet between the legs-and not just from the water-thinking about that kiss now. She abruptly stood up and wandered over to the girl's clothes, touching them with a now dry hand. They were, indeed, dry. She glanced over at Seras, making sure her eyes didn't wander (much). "You can change back into these if you wish, Seras. They're totally dry now. But do it quickly. We don't want to be caught out here at night, and the sun is going down quickly." She picked up her own clothes and started changing back into them herself as she said this. She almost hoped that Seras would stay the night, almost craved it. Craved something else too...But she wouldn't go there, not right now when they both were relatively naked...

Though Seras couldn't read Reika's mind, she did very well to sense her body language. The vampiress long since knew she was interested in her, but wouldn't dare admit it. Now, after being kissed on the cheek it was nearly impossible to ignore. The vampiress did her best to not let herself accept it, no matter how terribly she wanted to. As a sensual young woman, it took everything in her for Seras to not follow up to Reika's kiss, even if it meant ignoring that for once in an awfully long time in her morbid life, Seras felt alive. She felt loved. The towel around her was a warmth all in its own. It made her feel comforted and wanted. "It's alright, Miss Reika. please.." Seras looked dumbfounded, in utter disbelief that anyone would ever consider apologizing to the likes of herself. It made her uncomfortable, but shrugging it off lightly, Seras smiled bright for her new master. However, it was a false happiness, one born out of a warped psyche desperate to belong to someone and be desired, for any reason. Seras found solice in being a slave.
"Yes, straight away, Miss Reika..." the timid vampiress obeyed, as she swiftly but gracefully changed back into her clothing, not letting it be known that she was disgusted by her previously soiled outfit and would sooner rather simply buy another.
Sitting beside her master, the aroma of her scent was intoxicating to the vampiress. In truth it drove her insane with lust, but Seras' ability to quell her true desires was astounding, bordering on insanity or torture. Though she could feel the warmth growing within Reika, hearing her heartbeat increase, Seras was determined to believe it wasnt for her. She'd firmly convinced herself amidst her tattered mind that it was impossible for anyone to truly long for a monster. But, Seras knew that all her own feelings aside, if Reika wanted her than she would obey her every whim no questions asked. Seras truly enjoyed being anyone's slave, especially of any sexual nature. She'd been kept by brutally horrible people in her past before, and Seras knew deep in her mind that she deserved every bit of shame and horrors the man brought. In the end, it only made her feel wanted. Useful. Though Seras knew with what little sanity she held onto everyday that Reika wouldnt hurt her the same way, the vampiress was desperate for her to. Seras wanted to be beaten and defiled within inches of her life, which for a vampire was difficult, only to recover and live through it again and again. It was the only lifestyle she was acustumed to anymore.
Except recently there was a new, unimaginable horror in her life that had torn her apart. To a vampire, sleep wasnt something of particular interest or necessity, but still they rested at times. But not Seras, never even during the daylight hours even. A certain nightmare plagued her horrendously. Despite seeing and living through great atrocities, the one that wreaked the most havoc was when she'd been involved with a man and was to give him a child. Seras had lost the baby to a miscarriage after being savagely beaten, but blames herself entirely. Her mind is incapable of placing blame on others. Although the vampiress never wanted to be a mother, she wanted desperately to give her master what he wanted, an offspring. But in her mind, she'd killed it. Seras had reoccuring nightmares of murdering an innocent little girl, presumably her daughter, in the most horrific ways unimaginable to mere humans. In one dream, the girl didnt appear visibly hurting at all, but Seras watched as her daughter couldnt resist feeding off another young girl no older than herself. The notion that she had caused her daughter such lifelong torment of being a vampiress as well soley because her mother was too a monster destroyed Seras inside her heart more than any violence ever could. Despite never wishing to be a mother for that very reason, seeing her beautiful daughter plagued with a thirst for blood in such a vivid dream had broken Seras thoroughly. It was one of few emotional pains that hurt so much she couldnt possibly try and enjoy it for just the torture of it. Seras had killed innocent people before in her life, but having murdered a poor unborn child was especially destructive to her psyche for she was brought up in life with morals enough to understand the pure innocence of young beings. Everyday it made her genuinely consider piercing her heart once more with a silver blade, but this time leaving it in until her vampiric body withered away forever. However, Seras wouldnt dare let herself off easily. She deserved to live her long and eternal life in misery.
The vampiress wore a blank, emotionless glance across her face as she sat calm beside her master. Her depressions had no doubt taken hold of her, but Seras wouldn't dare waste the shifter's time anymore with her nonsense. She was an empty, hopelessly lost soul hiding behind the picturesque and convincingly pleasant visage that would fool anyone. Instead, she simply waited to be ordered to do something, anything.

((so sorry for the wait!! i kept thinking i had posted!! XP here ya go!!!!))
Reika looked up at the sky, noticing the bit of pink coming through the trees. She figured they had wasted enough time and stood up. She offered her hand to the girl and said "I think it's safe to go back to the cave now. We can eat and then you can either stay," she shrugged her shoulders. "Or go. It doesn't matter to me." This last sentence was a lie. And she knew it. She knew that she hoped for Seras to stay the night, or stay forever. Forever would work for her. Zev sat by quietly, picking up on her friend's mood.

The vampiress quickly caught on to the shifter's body language and mood, and though she couldn not read the wolf girl's thoughts, it was clear what her intentions were. Even if she did not let it on with her words, Seras knew, Reika wanted her to stay. For what reasons, the vampiress couldn't be sure and wouldn't allow herself to speculate, but it almost brought a smile to her cold face nonetheless.
"If you wish for me to stay, then I will, Miss Reika," Seras spoke quietly and very concise. "Or would you rather I take my leave, then I shall." There was something so matter of fact about her that it was chilling, yet her soothing voice was quite the opposite. In truth, despite reading into the gravity of the situation, Seras was hurt by Reika's mention that 'It doesn't matter to me'. The girl was exceptional at hiding any and all emotion, determined to be useful to her master, but like all things she found pleasant, they did not ever last. Still, Seras stood her ground until she would be told to leave, told that she was no longer needed, no longer wanted.
Deep inside, Seras was an even larger mess than before. She adored Reika more than anything and the short time they've already spent together felt like an eternity to her. Of course all she wanted to do was to bawl her eyes out and hold Reika close and plead with her. To tell her that she will be good, and promise to be everything the shifter needed her to be. But Seras was beyond attached to the girl. She knew her place and wouldn't dare talk out of turn or to bother her master with mundane details.
Seras was nervous. She began to doubt herself. She'd never been a slave to a person who lived outdoors and didn't appear to care for the fancier things in life. The vampiress wasn't sure how long she could lie to herself before realizing that she were more suited to civilized life. Although enduring hardships and never speaking her mind were something of a specialty for the vampire, Seras began to hurt more.
With all her might, something strange began to happen. Something Seras was afraid of. She could feel the mental block from Reika's psyche begin to melt. Though Seras would not be able to read her thoughts, the vampiress knew that if she weren't careful and their emotional connection grew, Reika may begin to understand and hear Seras' thoughts from time to time. The last thing Seras wanted was to be able to project her thoughts into Reika's mind, but before she could stop herself, she knew she let a whisper slip.
"...but... I love you..."
Seras was horrified with herself. She took a long, sorrowful gander at Reika, desperate to gauge her reaction. Seras needed to know if Reika had indeed heard her thoughts escaping her min. She needed Reika to understand that it was a vampire's ability to read and project thoughts. But what would the shifter think? Would she consider it an invasion of privacy and hate Seras? As she grew more and more weary of herself by the second, Seras began to tremble lightly. She took a few steps away from Reika, unsure of what to escape. She was certain she hadn't said anything aloud, but hoped she had contained her psyche within herself.
"I-Im heaps sorry, Miss Reika" Seras whispered softly along a light breeze.

Reika wasn't surprised when she heard "But...I love you..." whispered into her mind. The vampiress was growing more and more fond of Reika, it seemed. As Seras stepped back and mumbled an apology, Reika stepped forward. But when the other girl stopped, Reika kept going, until she wrapped the girl in her arms. She smiled and inhaled a sigh. The girl her heart was beating for at this very minute, shared her feelings.
"I love you too, Seras. Please don't be afraid of me anymore..." She whispered into the girl's hair. She pulled back, but didn't let go of the girl, and smiled even more. She looked into Seras' beautiful eyes, and she felt her love for the vampiress grow. "Stay," she whispered, noticing how close her lips were to the other's. "Please. Stay. As long as you wish. But don't feel like you have to stay." She could tell, she didn't know how, but she could tell the girl had gone through a worse hell than she had. The abuse was there, behind her eyes. And oh, did Reika want to take that pain away, replace it with gentle love.
'In time, Reika. In time...' She thought to herself.

Almost immediately, Seras had very many conflicting emotions wreaking havoc on her psyche. Mostly every fiber of her being told her the situation was wrong and that she shouldn't accept the kindness Reika showed her. However, a growing part of Seras longed for the shifter's love. It was every bit all she needed as well as everything she thought she didn't want. It hurt to hear Reika tell her not to be afraid, though it was the truth she could not admit with herself. But it wasn't so much that the vampiress was afraid of everyone. She could not trust herself around people, and thus grew very much afraid of what anyone may or may not think of her. To be feared was a feeling Seras despised greatly. Again, Seras dove into Reika's mind, although for a short while the vampiress believed she was speaking aloud and not directly into the girl's thoughts. Seras felt as though she were invading the young woman's privacy and it haunted her. "Please... please don't hate me... please... I'll do anything... please keep me..."The thoughts that arbitrarily forced themselves into Reika's mind were of kind intent, and almost adorable to see how timid the dangerous vampire really truly was, but the last bit suggested a fierce distaste for herself. Seras no longer knew the difference between belonging to someone in a relationship fueled by love, and literally belonging to someone as though she were property. Seras longed to be owned, to be used, to be kept because someone needed her. That was her form of love. It was the only thing that made her long for life, despite it not being a glamourous or proud one. Vampires were typically known to be strong, proud creatures. Seras was only proud in her ability to serve those who wanted her and strong enough to withstand the worst abuse relentlessly. Seras adored every second being in Reika's arms. The girl had a comforting, loving touch about her and her warmth was so inviting to the vampiress' ice cold skin. There was still something cool and sleek one might find beautiful about Seras, but in her mind it only made her that much more inhuman. She took a deep breath, inhaling Reika's scent to an almost orgasmic effect. It drove her absolutely mad! As a vampiress thirsty for blood, as a female who was sexually attracted to the goddess with azure hair, the shifter's presence intoxicated the creature of the night. Suddenly, without warning, Seras managed to let her guard down. She grew too comfortable with Reika, even but for just a moment, a fraction of a second rather, her mental wall crumbled. The block in her psyche that warded others privvy to her thoughts through an inexplicable emotional bond shared with the vampiress melted for the most brief of times. Still, even with Seras realizing it and backing out of the shifter's kind grasp, breaking their skin to skin contact, her fragile psyche was open to the eyes of Reika's mind completely. Surely Reika wouldn't be able to grasp it all within the blink of an eye, but the amount of pain and suffering she'd seen in thoughts would be astronomical. It wasn't anything for the feint of heart. In that most brief moment, Reika's psyche had been bombarded with countless years of pain Seras had vividly recounted regularly in her warped mind. Every rape, every brutal beating, every instance that would surely have been the death of any mere human. All the violence and bloodshed, the disgusting display of lacking morals. The sheer brutality and discrimination towards Seras for only being a vampire, Reika was shown it all within a split second. No on who hadn't been there to witness it themselves would believe even half of the horrors Seras had endured and often even brought upon herself, but it was no longer a secret between them. Being shown years of someone's life secrets within a fraction of a second would be difficult for anyone to recall or understand, but it did everything for suggesting a most horrible life Seras had led. Details hazy for having had such a short glimpse, Seras prayed Reika wouldn't comprehend it and shake it off as a bad daydream. Seras grew worried, hoping that the sudden intrusion into Reika's mind wouldn't have horrified her into a broken mental state. The last person who unwillingly witnessed the inner workings of the vampiress' mind ended up going insane and ending their own life. To see and feel that amount of pain all at once in just a moment, it wasn't something just anyone could walk away from. Seras knew this. She immediately was devastated with herself. The last thing she wanted was to hurt Reika, or to let the details of her secrets out. But as before, Reika brought everything within Seras out into the open. All the good, all the bad, the vampiress could not keep secrets from the woman she was growing very fond of. Knowing Reika more than likely saw things she wasn't supposed to, Seras' lips trembled. She was cursing herself on the inside, severely, and took a few short steps back. The sorrow and fear in her eyes was immeasurable. A million thoughts ran through her mind just then, only to stop on the only conclusion her damaged psyche would allow. She knew, if she ran Reika would hunt her down again. It wouldn't do her any good. Without hesitation, all Seras concentrated on was the steady heartbeat of her lovely friend. Seras took a deep breath and forced herself to suppress every emotion, every thought, everything, and only focus on her vampiric thirst that was still very much unquenched. It was dangerous, but Seras knew her thoughts as a timid young girl who just wanted to be loved would all be lost to nothing but a bloodthirsty killer. Any shred of humanity Seras did away with and finally gave up the struggle to keep the monster within her buried deep. It was now her horribly painful and absolutely tattered life that she hid from everyone, leaving only an emotionless monster to emerge. Seras knew, it would be the only way for Reika to never again witness that which nobody should ever see. But she also knew, Reika's protective companion wouldn't simply stand by idle and watch. With the eyes of a bloodthirsty killer, Seras glared at Reika's throat with much desire. Her fangs were longer than ever, dripping with saliva and ever menacing. It was the sight only few had seen, before being killed by the vampiress. She truly was more dangerous than ever. With ferocity that rivaled any wild beast, Seras lunged at Reika. There was no warning, no second thought, only the slight hesitation left over from an overwhelming love for Reika as well as a self hating desire. Somewhere deep inside, Seras still had the smallest bit of control over herself, only enough to use the monster within her to finally end things. Seras turned her brain off. There was no more girl within her, only a horrible creature. But just as she lunged for Reika's through with inhuman speed, something caught her mid air and forced the creature of the night upon the ground. Seras lay there, colder than ice, her body still. Anyone would realize, she had given up. There was a wolf protecting its companion standing before Seras' body, its jaws stained in blood as its teeth clenched down upon the vampiress' throat. Her chest was ripped open by fierce claws, all in the blink of an eye. Seras slowly, gently, reached up and touched her dainty hand to the massive wolf's jaw, caressing it gingerly with what strength she had left in her. It all happened so fast, but with its true instincts, Zev protected its fellow wolf from a girl who only moments prior was considered a friend. In a split second, the canine was able to understand the unmistakable danger in the vampiress' eyes. However, as she slowly opened them, it was as if all her pains melted away. The only thing visible in Seras' usually distressed eyes, was a sense of happiness only unimaginable pain brought. Both the physical and emotion pain it brought her to truly attack the only person who had ever honestly been nice to her in years caused the girl to have a mental breakdown. She shut herself off. Aside from the unmistakable and absolutely disturbing happiness evident in her eyes, Seras' was emotionless and cold. She was broken. She said nothing, thought nothing, felt nothing, save for pleasure that washed over her body from something that would cripple a lesser person. Her tortured soul locked away everything that made Seras even close to human, and left behind and withered, empty shell of a being. ((Zev written into post WITH permission from Reika. Reika did not step back, did not cringe, as Seras let down her guard, and let Reika into her mind. The torture and pain Reika saw there would have made her go insane with pain, if it wasn’t for the fact that she herself had been there. Done that, and never wanted to do it again. She was, however, caught off guard when Seras tried to attack her. As Zev protected her, as she had done many a time, Reika pulled her off before too much damage could be done. She knew that Seras would most likely live through this, but it did not quell the urgency in her heart, the thought that she might lose the one person who had been able to loose her mental wall and bury themselves deep into her psyche. She picked up the vampiress, careful not to jostle her too much, and ran. She ran like her life depended on it. And in a way, it did.
Finally, she got to the cave where she kept her first aid kit. She wasn’t that uncivilized! She laid Seras on the bed and tore open the box and fished for the bandages. Finally, she found them and began wrapping Seras’ wounds. She kept the pressure on them, just as she was taught. But she was so scared that she was too late, even though somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew that Seras would be alright. With blood. The vampiress needed blood. Reika looked over to the large elk and fawn Zev had taken down earlier. She would give Seras the elk, knowing that she would need all the blood she could get. Zev seemed to know what Reika was planning, and calmly dragged the dead carcass over to the two girls.
Reika, shaking for god knows why, lifted part of the carcass up to Seras’ mouth and whispered “Bite Seras, dear. Feed on this. You need the blood after all that you lost. You stupid, idiotic, broken girl.” This last sentence made Reika smile. She knew that Seras would be waiting for her to run, or go insane, but she wouldn’t. She owed that much to her. Reika had seen glimpses of what the girl in front of her had gone through, and though much of what she saw she never could imagine going through, enough of it, enough of the pain there, she herself had felt at one point or another. It did not make her cower, it did not scare her. But, nevertheless, it made her heart grow fonder of the vampiress. Yes, she had tried to feed from Reika, but she quickly filed that into the “forgiven” section of her brain. The girl was scared, and acted the only way she knew how. And Reika could not, well, not forgive her for that. She herself would have done the same thing, if put into the position.
“I’m not leaving you,” she whispered so quietly you could almost not hear her. But she knew Seras could. “I’m not leaving you when you need someone to show you real love the most. Seras, I’m not scared of you. Or of what I saw. I’ve been through that pain. I’ve been through similar. And I’m not leaving you for the world. I love you too much to do that.” Reika could feel the tears pricking her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. Refused to let Seras see how much seeing her hurt, also hurt Reika. Right there, she silently vowed to be there for Seras, and to make sure that Seras never had to see those horrors again.
((From here on, Zev is a “floating character” meant to be controlled by the role-players in the thread. That is what I sort of intended Zev’s role to be. Any questions, feel free to pm me. ))

Laying absolutely still even after being bandaged, Seras' eyes suggested an empty soul. Her face was expressionless, her skin more pale than ever before. If ever the girl exhibited a visage of a ghastly, horrendous pain, it was now. The vampiress was truly overwhelmed, not letting even an ounce of feeling through. It was finally too much for her to handle alone.
Unlike most vampires, even as there was fresh blood put before her, Seras still did not flinch, or even blink. Her gave remained as empty as ever, the eyes open but not focused on anything at all. Reika was right. The girl did need to feed in order to speed up her healing, but despite being told she still didn't move. Not even the dripping carcass could entice her, in truth the stench of animal blood disgusting her. On another note, Seras would never be so close to something she despised greatly, as the girl never dared drink from an animal. She absolutely adored the creatures, and the distaste their flavour brought to her senses was very rich.
Her eyes refused to even return to a natural, crimson colour. If one were to gaze upon her tattered beauty, they'd believe Seras was nothing but a broken human. Her fangs were no longer barred, her skin cold out of the waning sunlight. However, the moment Reika spoke so lovingly to her, telling her honestly that she would never leave Seras, something happened. It almost brought a sense of life into her heart, although amounting to little more than a single tear. It was alone, yet hard to miss amongst the severe lack of life about her. One tear rolled down her porcelain cheek, streaking her striking features with a sickening crimson. Even still, Seras did not move in the slightest. The shifter spoke to her, reassuring her, giving the vampiress every bit of confidence in their love that she needed, but it appeared to have little effect. Seras neither spoke nor responded in the least.
The last thing anyone would expect of a creature of the night would be for one to bleed out, but despite the fresh bandages, Seras neck continued to be stained red. Her blood was colder than ice to the touch and within a few long minutes there was blood pooling in the dimples by her collarbone. The wrappings once new only moments prior were no longer white and fresh but soiled and doing little to contain her wounds. More minutes passed, the blood pooling so thick it was almost black. It would be inherently obvious to anyone who looked upon the poor girl, she was not healing. Despite the pressure and bandages, she wasn't even healing as a human. Seras had lost all will to survive, not letting her body work its magic.
There was a long, awkward period of silence within the cave, a deathly atmosphere brought on by the brutality of the girl's wounds. Still, they were arguably self inflicted. Seras had known exactly what she was doing. She knew the outcome and counted on it precisely. Whilst still having the empty eyes of a broken soul, Seras slowly sat up, scooting herself back against a stone. She didn't look at Reika, or anywhere in particular. It was not dissimilar to looking into the eyes of a blind person. The exquisite grace she always moved in beforehand was now lacking, as her body moved slowly and painfully. However, despite her wounds, her pretty, bloodstained face finally wore an expression. It was slight, and utterly disturbing, but a smile nonetheless. How could a girl who must be in so much pain, smile so politely?
Seras' mind slowly began to open again to Reika, filling her thoughts uncontrollably with visions so harsh they would disturb any lesser creature into insanity. The confusion theyd bring was certainly absolute, however. The only thing swimming about hastily in Seras' head, was but a single feeling: pleasure. All the images, all the memories, they were of brutal acts of violence rivaling those of the world's worst criminals, yet focused on how throughout any and all of it, Seras always appeared to have been wearing a smile. Could Reika possibly come to understand what she wasn't supposed to see? Was it right? How could such a timid, beautiful little thing undergo such tortures and withstand it all only to beg for more with a smile?
It all happened so fast, anyone could be confused by disbelief in the blink of an eye. But just as the situation grew stranger by the minute, Seras moved again. Slower, but her grace had returned. With slender fingers drenched in blood, she effortlessly began to undo the bandages around her neck. Blood ran down her cheeks from the corners of her stained lips, yet not a tongue tasted it. Not until Seras put her cold hand around her throat and squeezed. Still, there was no pain written in her anywhere, only a smile growing across her mouth. It was a truly disturbed image. Moments later, the vampiress released her deadly grasp and brought her hand to her mouth. There were no fangs present, nor her eyes shifting colours, but nonetheless Seras licked the blood off her skin, savouring it.
As her mind again drew a complete blank and shut everything and everyone out, what little life Seras had just exhibited was short lived. She neither responded nor continued to move. The only movement about her was the steady flow of blood from her ravaged neck wound. The vampiress didn't appear to be in any amount of pain whatsoever, only a smile across her lips. One that started as a questionable grin the the furthest corners of her lips, growing more full and unmistakably brilliant as one would have assumed her pain to have been made worse. Seras remained seated, apparently nothing on her mind. Her body exhibited the most pure, truest feeling known to her, pleasure. She only acted to pursue it, but was now again as dead as ever. No words reached her ears.
Sitting solemnly with no life to her, the vampiress had her gaze cast aside with only one conveyance of life about her. Her body could not lie. She enjoyed the pain, the suffering. It was enough to bring an unmistakable wetness between her thighs. If she were herself, the display of love for such horrors done to her body would immediately disgust her, throwing Seras into a frenzy of apologies and attempts to hide herself. But it was all apparent to anyone who looked upon her now. The amount of pain she would have had to endure until reaching a point in which she grew to truly enjoy it was unfathomable. How did one become so broken? Despite unwillingly showing Reika how she was so broken, the memories of where it all began were locked away so deep within her mind they were all but lost to time. The only thing Seras ever put more effort into than obeying and serving others was to repress the horrible memories of her first love and what she did to him. One thing grew clear about her, however. The fact that she often put herself into situations that led to torture and violence from others was undeniable. Seras was a vampire. She could read minds. She knew just how to find the right people who would do terrible things to her. Always. If blood wasn't involved, the increased pleasure coursing through the vampire's body and deepening the wetness between her thighs to a noticeable point would ruin anyone's conscious second thoughts to not be interested. There was always an inherent beauty about her, and even covered in blood and other bodily fluids, she still displayed it greatly. But, there was no other life exhibited by her. Seras was still as cold as ever with a gander that rivaled that of a corpse.
Suddenly, one lone scene played out explosively into Seras', as well as the minds of anyone around her. Vividly, Seras was shone a memory of being alone in a cold, darkened room. It was barred. A jail cell? She was shackled and bound even around the neck by silver chains that burned her skin relentlessly. The two silver bullets in her side raced pain through her body only a vampire could comprehend. She wore only a tattered, oversized button up that suggested her as a failure to perhaps a man in her life. Then, the beatings. As she barred fangs when a few larger men in uniform entered her cell they beat her savagely with clubs and police batons. Finally, when the brutality subsided, Seras bled out from between her legs and collapsed in a puddle of a thick, lumpy crimson liquid that could only mean one thing: a miscarriage. Seras was absolutely devastated. Then, just as swiftly as the memory had entered everyone's mind, it ended without warning in a sea of black nothingness.
Although she didn't appear any more distraught than she already was, making no movements or noises, Seras grew colder than death. Her eyes lost all colour. Her skin was covered in tattered scars of deep blue and purple and black hues. Tears of blood flowed unstoppably down her cheeks with no end in sight. The devastation she must have felt for living with herself after blaming herself for not only a child's death, but letting a man down could not possibly be fully understood. Not only was she horribly broken, Seras was brought up by a traditional mother. To let a man down was unquestionably evil and vile by her morals. Not to mention the shame of having even conceived a child out of wedlock. Plus, Seras truly loved children, deep down. She adored their innocence. But to take that away by forcing her own child to live as a monster because of her mother, that was something Seras had grappled with right up until the very moment she had had a miscarriage. The slight sense of relief she couldn't help but have felt for ending up not bringing a child into such a horrible existence made the vampire despise herself greater.

Reika didn't know what to do. The blood kept flowing, and Seras wouldn't take the elk. Reika sighed and threw the carcass to the other side of the cave. She looked back just in time to see Seras lick the blood off of her hand. If not wrought with worry, the gesture would have piqued Reika's curiosity. But then, Reika's mind was filled with the horrors of Seras' life. A life that Reika would never wish on herself, or anyone. She now understood why Seras was the way she was. And it pained her to see such pain bring so much pleasure. Seras' mind was more warped that Reika thought.
It was the last memory though, of a miscarriage, that really drove home how much self-loathing the vampiress before her had for herself. Reika felt it all, the beatings, the pain of the miscarriage, and above all, the broken heart. The pain of knowing that what she had done was inexcusable. It took Reika aback. But, it didn't stop her from caring for the girl. She looked around frantically for something to give Seras for blood.
"Fuck it." She muttered as she took a piece of glass she had used as a knife when she first inhabited this cave and drew a line across her arm, drawing blood. She lifted her arm up to Seras' mouth and sighed. "Seras, you need to drink. Just, don't take too much. Please drink. If not for yourself, then for me." She knew she would pull the master card on Seras if she didn't drink of her own free will, and Reika didn't want to do that. She wanted Seras to be her own person, not a slave meant to be broken and abused. But, this once, she knew that she would command Seras to drink from her, if only to save her. "Please" She whispered, wiping the tear from Seras' eye and then wiping her own eyes with her free hand.

The very instant Reika ran a shard of glass along her arm, Seras' attention was caught. Whereas before she had little emotion at all, suddenly her interest was outstanding. Immediately the colour of the richest crimson flooded over her dull, dead eyes. Her fangs grew to a most menacing length. If not for a girl gone within her, but a vampire was all that remained. It was more than obvious her control over the monster was lacking at best, for she only used it on purpose in order to get Zev to attack her earlier. The lengths Seras went to in order to inflict hurt upon herself suggested a tortured psyche far deeper than one would understand.
Ever still, Seras' once lifeless eyes were transfixed by the droplets of blood that began to pour out of Reika's skin. She had heard the girl's flesh tear under the sharp edge of the glass, and could pick up every individual drop running along the length of otherwise perfect skin. One might try their very hardest to speak with her, but Seras was absolutely indisposed. There was no other moment greater worth living for right then for the vampiress. The world could end as they knew it and Seras' gaze would still be affixed to Reika's arm. Her lips began to tremble and already there was a dab of saliva dripping out of the corner of her mouth. Seras' heart was near bursting out from her chest. There were tears welling up in her eyes once more, though not of a bloodied sorrow but of utter disbelief and joy. It was strange to see just how emotional Reika's blood made the vampire within, almost as if to suggest it was anything but a monster. To Seras, a lover's blood made her whole again. It was the deepest connection she could have with someone. Aside from turning a human, the last lover she'd drank from made her absolutely more infatuated with the being on an inhuman, unhealthy level. Seras wanted that all with Reika. She was already near starstruck with the shifter, purely smitten by her own lust and to add fuel to the fire she was a pretty girl as well.
But the thought of what would transpire should Reika be bitten hadn't even crossed Seras' mind. The only other time she'd fed off someone who wasn't human, it had little to no effect save for blood loss related incidents. However, the sound of Reika's blood drew her attention further. She darted her eyes to follow the few drops that had begun to fall off her wrist and splash against the earth before them. It was the most loud, absolutely enthralling thing to hear for the vampiress. She was in heaven. The obvious hesitation brought on only by the girl left inside her was short lived as Seras couldn't hold herself back anymore.
The vampiress reached forward ever so gently, taking Reika's arm in her grasp. With a slight flick of her tongue, she got the smallest taste of her blood, it sending shivers through her body. However, almost immediately Seras wore a brilliant smile and the brightest of expressions. She leaned in and kissed Reika full on the lips, exploring her mouth slowly with her cold tongue. As she scooted a bit closer to the shifter, still locking lips with the girl, Seras wrapped her arms around Reika's equally as slender and toned body. The beauty of the scene was short lived, save to a vampire, as shortly after holding her in her arms, Seras pulled her lips away slowly. Everything about the girl and her actions could take near any living being's breath away. Her rustled, mildly matted hair, her pure and elegant skin with dried tears in the corners of her eyes, her bloodstained lips, the vampiress was astoundingly gorgeous. The love and longing in her eyes conveyed the strongest of gratitude and emotion.
Seras leaned in once more, ever so slowly and with such passion, but instead of locking lips she gently layed kisses down the shifter's neck. A moment later, whilst holding Reika dearly, Seras bit down. Her razor sharp fangs easily and swiftly pierced the girl's flesh, blood pouring into the vampiress' mouth. As it ran along her tongue and splashed down her throat, Seras was won over by the most outstandingly orgasmic sensation that flooded every centimeter of her petite body. The rush for her was as intense as it was calming. The invigorating sensation drove the vampiress absolutely mad! She didn't stop, sucking the fresh blood greedily from Reika. However, there was something endearing about the way she fed. Her love and appreciation for the wolf girl was undying, yet not enough to stop the monster within her. She was in love! Reika's blood was second only to one others' she'd ever had in her sickening life. The pleasure it brought Seras was greater than any torture. It was a true happiness. So much so it wet her pants between the thighs unmistakably and sent shivers down her spine.
Despite feeling Reika's body quiver, Seras still did not let her go. Nor did she pull her teeth out of the shifter's neck. Seras was lost in a pleasure so wondrous she couldn't hope to have any strength great enough to overcome it enough to stop. Not even the lightened breath or slowed heartbeat of Reika, nor the steady sound of droplets hitting in the floor could take her attention away from just how fantastic the wolf tasted. It aroused her, it filled her heart with desire and love and a longing far more severe than it already had been. Seras was now much further beyond simply being attracted to Reika. The vampiress had no further thoughts of a girl or a human, all that ran through her blank mind was an absolute infatuation of body and soul for Reika. It even momentarily cured her of her endless visions of pain and suffering.
However, the more Seras drank from Reika, the more she wanted. Her thirst was not quenched in the least, but instead it reached the heavens. Still, despite the timid girl within her not wanting to hurt anyone, Seras continued to drink with no end in sight and no will to stop. She had a fierce desire burning in her crimson eyes. Seras pulled Reika into her, holding the victim close to her chest tight and with an utmost sensual love.
Another pair of wolf eyes glared down at Seras from a short distance away, menacing in their own right. After a few minutes of gauging the situation and Reika's breath undoubtedly growing more and more shallow, Zev lunged at the vampiress and tore her off Reika. The two were now but enemies, one protecting its companion and the other acting out of a pure desire to feed. Seras, now blinded by her thirst, licked the blood off her lips and hadn't the time to even steal a glance over at the shifter to see if she were alright before attacking Zev. With inhuman speed neither the wolf nor the shifter had ever witnessed, Seras lunged at the canine, biting into its throat before grabbing it and throwing it across the cave into the earth. Zev whimpered, more out of surprise and anger, as it too embraced its love for Reika and fought back. But before long, Seras had overpowered Zev. Simply by the taste of her beloved's blood, Seras, whom previously adored and marveled at Zev, attacked the canine without a second thought. In a matter of seconds, the canine was bruised, battered and bleeding, only slowly rising from the ground after Seras made her way back to Reika. Faster than in the blink of an eye, Seras had Reika in an embrace again as she once more bit into her neck passionately. The blood tasted more and more amazing to her with each and every drop. Seras couldn't get enough. She bit down again and again, Reika's neck bleeding profusely by now, but still the vampiress couldn't stop herself. Even as Zev stood beside them and growled deeply, Seras only held out a hand viciously to signal for the canine to stop. Somehow, Zev backed off a few short steps but not without remaining angry, its fur standing up and its teeth bared.
Without any shred of her timid self remaining alive within her, Seras did not ever stop to consider the well being of her beloved Reika. Buried deep within the vampiress was a girl who would no doubt be ruined by guilt, but she was locked so very far away by a creature unwilling to give up the attempt to quench its thirst. Reika had unknowingly unleashed a monster that had been truly locked away for years. The power the shifter's blood had over the vampiress was unheard of. Despite a horribly frightful and angry wolf standing in their midst, the pleasure coursed through Seras' body, sending her shivering into a powerful orgasm.
