Alright friends you know what time it is! It's our first super fun and epic SITE WIDE EVENT WOOOOOOOOO! Here's a little fun bits of information so that we can all have a blast and we can figure out who's who and what not. So, to start some house-keeping rules, the setting, then more house keeping, just so I can break things up!
So, for starters this event will be by SIGN UP ONLY. That means that you MUST post a comment at the end of this (As a reply in the thread) with which character you want to sign up. To make things easy, we're only going to allow ONE character per player. The reason for this is that you guys will RANDOMLY be put into pairs so to make it easier, one character per player. Plus this way we can get more people to sign up and stuff and more super fun and epic pairs! Weeeeeeeeeee!
And now, the setting!

Welcome to White Pines. Ever changing population with a nice mixture of supernaturals and humans. Things happen here. Weird things. Sometimes magical. Sometimes not. This is one of those things. Magical. It's the BIGGEST snow storm White Pines has ever seen. Maybe it's a witch doing it. Maybe it's a demon. No one really knows who, or why, or how, just that it's happening. The snow begins to fall as a nice, light, picturesque snowfall early in the morning starting with the sun rise. As it approaches midday the snow gets heavier. Thicker. By the afternoon, the city is shut down. The storm rages on and on until sun rise the next day, vanishing without a trace like it never happened. What happens during the storm may be sinister. May be long lasting. May be character defining. Who knows. Only time will tell!

Alright guys, to make this a little easier on Amethyst and myself, there's a couple of fun little rules for the thread! First off. ALL of the signed up characters will be in the SAME location. The event is taking place in the Movie Theatre! If you're going to make a mention to another character (not your partner) please make sure it's okay with the other player first just so you don't have someone seeing someone in a place that they aren't. For example. I wouldn't have Alessandro seeing Elena at the theatre if she's not there and to find out, I'd PM Elocine and ask her. (Does that make sense guys?) Second. This event is CANON that means whatever happens happens. No do overs. No alternate universes. None of that stuff. If your character suffers a permanent injury like losing a limb, then they're stuck without that limb.
PLOT TWIST TIME!!
Magical creatures like witches and demons. You WILL be underpowered. That means no God-modding. No making your character break the storm. You characters CANNOT leave the theatre until sunrise the following day (AKA the end of your thread.) Lycans and shapeshifters you will be antsy. As if it were the full moon but you can't transform. Your characters are unable to shift because of the magic of the storm. Vampires you are going to be hungry. Here's the catch for you though. You are unable to feed. At all. And not just, you're afraid to feed off your partner, but you physically cannot feed. At all. Your body rejects it. Think of it like a mental block on feeding. Essentially, you forget how. And as for the lovely humans/hunters/psychics. You're all going to have enhanced powers. So much so that you cannot control them. So a telekinetic psychic might be throwing stuff around with no control over it. Or reading minds that they didn't know they could. Things like that.
These restrictions are here to give you guys a challenge. To have some fun and to push you to try and write something that's outside your comfort zone. No one is safe from the storm. If you guys have questions about the restrictions please PM me or Amethyst and we'll clear it up!
I think that's about it guys! OH! One more thing! Sign-ups will be open until NEXT Sunday. April 7th is the LAST day to sign up so that we can get your pairings out. Threads will start going up right after that and will continue until a natural conclusion. So, have fun!
