Imagine a daredevil with a stoner's mind who speaks as if he's a 1970's surfer dude and you've got Nate. He's not a stoner and he's not a surfer, but he's definitely a daredevil and definitely odd.
However, probably the most curious thing about Nate is that by this community's standards, he's totally normal. He has no special powers and he's not supernatural. Nate is purely human and he knows nothing of the supernatural. He has recently come to White Pines with his manager and best friend Jason to start training for a snowboarding competition. But Nate is a chill guy and he's ready to make friends with the local residents. Oddities abound.
From naked skydiving to goldfish tattoos. Rabbit feet to horror films. Things to put on a stick to burritos. The importance of the sick day? The difference between men and women? Nate has something to contribute to all these topics. Just make sure you don't harsh on his mellow in the meantime.
Send anything and everything my way. Nate is open to making friends, enemies, and even romantic interests.
Friends-The easiest thing to become to Nate. Once you start talking to him, you're basically there. Simple and easy. Just be decently friendly and nice and he'll consider you a "cool dude".
Enemies-Nearly impossible to become. One would have to seriously hurt one of his friends. Even then, Nate is quite naive and can be easily fooled into forgiving someone or trusting them again.
Romantic Interests-Nate is difficult to break here. He can recognize a hot girl and may attempt to hit on them, but normally his technique is too out there for any girl to handle. Moreover, once he is in a relationship, he becomes fiercely loyal and nervous about making sure everything is perfect. Few girls ever see this side of him though. Nate has also been hit on by guys, though usually only when he is cross-dressing, as he pulls off a woman surprisingly well. His comfort with cross-dressing leads some to speculate he is not as straight as he acts, though he has never shown any interest in men.
