Abe is a laid back guy, getting along with seemingly everyone. He is friendly, talkative, constantly charming those around him with a devilish smile and earnest compliments. He seems like he would be excellent company, and often he is, keeping everyone lively with his boundless energy. In his home, or other places that evoke similar comfort, a different side of him is shown. This one quieter, fewer smiles, his energy turned inwards so he is insulated from the world. He can be moody, flashing from one emotion to the other without just cause. He is enigmatic in that way, never explaining it beyond a 'you wouldn't understand.' He is not condescending when he says this, only weariness–deep sadness even–emanating from him. He keeps most people at arm's distance, treading cautiously when he comes across those he cannot keep out.

Most people will be friends to one degree or another. It's hard not to like him, no matter what side he shows you. Some may eventually lose patience with him. Those who confront him, call him on his charade or weaknesses, they become his enemies, but altogether with a degree of respect for a worthy foe. He tends to amass lovers, his charm making it easy to fall in love with him, even if it is only for a night.

I have a feeling he might get along with two my characters, maybe all three of them. But first and foremost, I think he would definitely get along with my two werewolf characters, Rainier and Rhiannon.

Abe && Rainier
Rainier is "considered" the first werewolf, but doesn't really explain how he came into existence, plus he's the Alpha of the werewolf clan in White Pines, which should really get together and have some fun, which hasn't exactly happened. Perhaps Rainier was there for Abe when he first came into White Pines and the two stuck up a friendship?

I can see the two only knowing each other by word of mouth or from the pack as Rhiannon's family hails from the same pack Rainier is head of. So perhaps the two can become more than friends or something. Or since you have his job as teacher, maybe he was Rhiannon's teacher at one point or another. She's pretty much open for plots.

Abe && Amethyst
While she's particularly more friendly with Werewolves, perhaps the two are acquaintances. She may have helped him at one point or another, not entirely involved, but behind the scenes or something. I dunno. Just getting ideas out there.

I like the idea that Rainier could have been there for him when he first came to town and then he could have an easy-in on the pack. I think they would get along well, in a mutually respectful way.

Abe & Rhiannon
Perhaps met a few times through the pack and then got/get more friendly. He couldn't have been her teacher, he just started this year, so that puts out some fun messed up drama. ;]

Abe & Amethyst
I think Vampires kind of just give him the creeps despite how often he is around them, like ew they are dead. She could have helped him out by helping someone else and he got to know who she was through that, like someone he could call up in a bind for something.

I can definitely see that happening between the two.

That's fine. I didn't know, so it was worth the shot to ask. But they can certainly have known each other through the pack. And start somewhere there.

Abe && Amethyst
That could easily work, or she kept herself known as a human. But helping someone else for him, she could have done that. She's known to help others from the background. So I can see him calling upon her for help when he needs it or something.

There's not much else I could really say for the match ups.
